The need for a rapid reduction of greenhouse gas emissions is leading to an unprecedented transformation of the automotive industry. Powertrain technologies are key to support this transformation whilst responding to the evolution of mobility needs and assuring its affordability.
It all starts with the production and distribution of electricity, hydrogen and other future CO2 neutral fuels. The materials and resources used to produce and handle such new energies and powertrains are crucial and form the backbone of this new ecosystem.;The automotive value chain is profoundly transformed. Numerous collaborations, joint ventures, private initiatives, and projects supported by public authorities are supporting this transformation.
Major questions need to be addressed. Where does the energy come from and how do we make most efficient use of it? What about the accessibility to raw materials? Can recycling be a solution and what about the environmental footprint? How does the usage of mobility evolve in various parts of the world and how do we keep it affordable? And how to make best usage of the current fleet of vehicles and make them contribute to CO2 reduction?
The 36th SIA POWERTRAIN conference will address the full spectrum of technologies for applications ranging from short range small urban mobility up to long range commercial vehicles.
The SIA POWERTRAIN conference is recognized by automotive stakeholders as an exceptional and unique technical event. International OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, Engineering Companies, and many more will share their latest technologies, projects and results.
